Its been a few years since I had my plastic wing splash guards off. On mine its behind the drivers side.

Electronic siren Bosch - 1K0 951 605 C dropped 01/04/2017 for 1K0 951 605 F - £147.72. Ask as a dealers?

Hi sorry to reopen this thread.
Have a 2011 mk6 golf. Now 11 years old.
Seem to have the dreaded 01134 - Alarm horn H12 error with my siren going off sporadically when the car is locked.
Seems like I need to replace the alarm siren in the driver wheelarach.

Have been trying to source a siren, lots of used on ebay (1ko951605F) but suspect that they may all get the same problem quickly.

Have messaged VW service but they have told me they are not producing that part currently.(may need to try a different VW parts desk)

Ali express has this siren Auto Electronic Alarm Horn Siren Anti Theft Car Alarms For VW Golf MK5 MK6 Passat B6 Tiguan CC Audi A4 A5 A6 Q5 Q7 TT 1K0951605C| | - AliExpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004552873048.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.2 5.3b6a3018Rbo2mR&algo_pvid=2cc5a7a3-30aa-4da6-9227-7b39fed44183&algo_exp_id=2cc5a7a3-30aa-4da6-9227-7b39fed44183-12&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000029606278362%2 2%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21GBP%2122.79%2111.4%21%21%21%21%2 1%400b09b6c616692882070267234d0701%211200002960627 8362%21sea&curPageLogUid=xk5dxhFqki4v)

Has anyone any expereience using aftermarket Chinese sirens for install, seems like some people say they don't work and throw more codes up?

Have also seen the parts with letters after the part number i.e. 1ko951605A, 1ko951605C, 1ko951605D, and 1ko951605F.
Is the letter after them a sign of revision. I.e. will a 1ko951605F be the latest version and would it good to source an original spare with the latest revision?

Would be grateful for your thoughts.

Thanks
