Audi buying advice

Hi all,

New to the forum and new to Audi.

I'm looking at purchasing a 2011 Audi A4 technik manual and was wondering what things I should be looking out for.

I've read about the oil pump drive issue on early B8 models, but was wondering if this had been resolved by 2011. I believe the dmf can also be an issue with manual transmission, is it cause for concern, generally how long do they last?

Any advice would be appreciated.

The DMF will probably have gone by now or be ok. Our one went at 36,000 m after about 3 visits to the dealer where they just said it was normal. We got used to it and then at the next service they said it needed doing (under warranty).
