Reversing on steep hill..what am i doing wrong

Audi a4 2014 diesel manual
Parked car on a hill facing down with electronic brake on... seatbelt on change gear to reverse foot on clutch give a little gas and start taking foot of clutch...but car rolls down hill..
How do you guys deal with this, am i missing a trick

I would put my right foot on the brake before releasing the electronic parking brake then lift left foot till clutch just starts to bite , then a little throttle as I ease up the clutch further and lift right foot from brake pedal.
