PD engine or not?

Hi, sorry if this has already been bought up. I have a mk4 1.9tdi 90 hp (agr). Gone to buy some oil for a change and the merchant insisted mine is a pd engine but I didn't think the 90hp engines were? I rang my local VW dealership, they also say it's a pd engine. So now I'm all over the place, the timing belt needs doing and I want to have a crack myself but want to be certain I'm buying all the correct parts. If anyone could shed any light on this I'll be eternally grateful!

The oil is simple , VW's highest quality and universal 507.00 .

PD , non PD , common rail , LongLife or fixed servicing, petrol , diesel , 2.0 TDI , 3.0 tdi , S4 , it does it all .
