Hi All, owned my A4 B6 1.9TDI 96kW for four years without any problems, but recently have some dash lights.
Bought a Bluedriver code reader, which, unhelpfully only reads North American Audi fault codes (they didn't mention this at time of sale). A garage scan turned up a faulty rear speed sensor.
I had the wheel off and read part number 8E0-971-822E off the offending sensor, but no internet search turns this up as the correct OEM part number.
Does anyone happen to know the correct part number (if not this one), the OEM manufacturer of these sensors, or a reliable aftermarket replacement? Is there anywhere other than main dealer that can sell OEM sensors? I'm in Spain and the dealer wants €130 for the sensor - I nearly cried!.
Thanks.
Richard
