Sunroof issue

So my A4 Avant has a panoramic sunroof and for some reason one side of it won’t sit in the fully closed position. It is raised a compared to the other side and is therefore not watertight. It looks like it’s jumped out of its railing. The motor will only turn a tiny bit, I guess due to sensors telling it not to move. How can I open the sunroof manually? I’ve tried turning the motor with an Allen key but it’s bar tight.

Hi there, did you manage to solve this? My roof won't open, the motor makes a noise but the glass doesn't open or go up.

Undo the motor, you have all the tools in the boot. Then with a screwdriver move the cable for the side sitting high and then reinstall the motor.
