(no seriously ! haha).. but i did buy it with teh 18" TT alloys.. looking to do the following:
1. HID kit (http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-products.html (http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-products.html))
2. New alloys (RS4 style)
3. Lower the front suspension by 30mm (anyone recommend me on this ?)
4. Satnav install (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=13049 (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=13049))
5. Sports exhaust or maybe just the rear tips replaced (depending on cost)
would REALLY like the RS4 seats and steering wheel... but have NO CLUE as to how to get those... :1zhelp:
anyone with links would be a gem :beerchug:

Ya Ya baby. click the link...
The site says for all 4 door models so I assume they won't fit a cabriolet.
Am I right?

My Avant came with the S-line type bodykit as standard, but I have added:
18" RS6/S-line wheels
Nokia Bluetooth kit with cradle and ext. aerial
HID light kit
Front centre armrest
XCARLINK MP3 interface
Think that's it. I have some parking sensors to go on, and I might swap the rear window blinds over from the wife's car...

2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro Sport
Done:
Lip spoiler.
Debadged bootlid.
Debadged front grille.
Painted Lowers.
German Font Tin Pressed Plates.
Tint (35% rear 25% front).
Dark tinted rear clusters.
FK Angel eye Headlights.
ABT front splitter (i dont like the badge in the middle of this and want to remove it).
19" TSW Thruxton Wheels with F1 Eagle Tyres (much comfyer than I expected, hardly any different from the factory 17's).
Stock sports suspention but with RS4 sway bars works well and sits nice so im not changing that.
D-catted (just with hollowed out stock cats) and remapped ECU.
2 x Magnaflow back boxes
Pioneer 55BT head unit on half amped stock symphany speakers.
1,0000000000 litres of autoglym products.
Clifford AvantGuarde Security system.
To do:
Rear splitter, but i havent found one I like yet.
S4 or in-pro Mat mirrors (trying to find somone who stocks them)
RS4 Steering wheel and Pedals inside
PES Supercharger (got a savings account going for this, shouldnt be to long)
New model Pioneer 700BT Head unit, Focal Component speakers front and rear, plus focal amp and an uprated sub, nothign heavy though.
Probably lots more once the above is done.

Physica,ly the halo lights fit straight in, they plug in and apart from sidelights they operate fine.
however fro sidelights you need to run the supplied cabling to the battery (fused) as they are relay switched. then you will get bulb warnings so you need to put resistors in to simulate bulbs to get rid of the warnings.
I have had a fine for my plates also :( i wasnt pulled for them, i was pulled for "going a bit quick" then the ****** was just scouring my car to find something to do me for.

they are such ba$tards when it comes to motoring offences.
i got pulled for having the "audi" logo on my "euro flag"
then got done because the 1st 2 letters aren't 11mm apart ! ***!!!!!
then in scouring the car it emerged i had an illegal tyre that was gonna cost me 3pts and £60, but i got away with it because i'd only had the car a week and picked it up with a full MOT so i didnt check!!!!!
Are the Halo's led??? i know LED lights are a real pain with the ecu and fault codes, learned my lesson the hard way rear LED lights on my Ibiza. every time i turned the wipers on, the power cut out!!!!!!!!
might just go for retro R8 style LED, even though most people think they are Chav :(
already got Lexus style rears and tints, might as well go the full chav stylee :)

Heres mine. Picked it up a few weeks ago.
It already has the following:
Blood Red 1.9 tdi 130 Sport Avant With ECU Remapped to 160 Bhp
Full Quattro Bodykit
Twin Powerflow Exhausts
Silver Roof Rails
19" Mercedes SLR Alloys
Euro Plates
HID 8000K Upgrade to Dipped Beam
100W Upgraded Bulbs to Fogs and High Beam, (HIDs going into both next week, Should be Blindin)
Want to get it lowered a little as it is sitting a little bit high on the front. Considering installing Coilovers but dont know what type or whee to get them. It is still on the stock sports springs. Any information or advice on this would be helpfull and appreciated.
What ya think?

i think he looks real good, personally, he doesn't look like he needs lowering :) but its upto you?
i find the stock "sport" setup is more than adequate, there's a little bodyroll in extreme (track) use, but normal and even hard driving is ok.

Looks good gerrymouse, although... it may look better de-badged. Would tidy up the bag, plus it is and looks beefier than a 1.9TDI. :D Personally I'm not too keen on mud flaps.... But that's up to you of course. :D
Looks great though, like the wheels....

i like mudflaps, just fitted fronts on mine, will fit the rears when i get my new rims on payday!!!!
i feel they make the car look lower due to drawing the eye to a shorter ground clearance.
each to their own of course, that's what makes us all individual :) the world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same thing :(

Thanks for the comments on the wagon.
About the debadging. Are there holes left whn the badges on the back are removed. Wouldnt want to have to start fillinf and spraying. A lot of hassle.
Thanks

no holes left just crap sticky stuff and paint mite be darker under badge

Have you a picture of your avant debadged so I can see what it is like?
StuPDi
05-05-2008, 08:16 PM
when debadging, use a wide, stiff, non metal implement like a spatula, that way there is minimal risk of scratching. or wrap a cloth round the tool you are using, then simply wash, dry, claybar and polish and it should look fine.
red paint hs this horrible habit of fading tho :(
have thought about de-badging mine, had reflective grafix applied to the back window, and had a crazy idea about removing the OE badges, and replacing with the red reflective :)
what you think?????

the Holos are LED, the only problem I had was the bulb warnign lights coming on, but ive fixed this by adding dummy load resistors bridging the sidelight circuit so its stopped warning me.
If im honest im not a fan of your rear clusters, if i were you ide go smoked stock, or maybe soem in-pro LED ones, these in-pro ones can have resistors fitted as well to stop the bulb warnings. http://www.audituningmag.com/in-pro-tailights/
Im even tempted to get a smoked set of these inpro`s like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Audi-A4-B6-02-06-LED-rear-lights-smoked-in-Pro-Germany_W0QQitemZ250236912932QQihZ015QQcategoryZ72 248QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
also Gerrymouse, your car looks very nice, debadge it :-) will look tidyer on the backend.
