MK6 Golf Driver side door hesitant to open from in side.

Hello,I have Golf MK6 12 PLATE 1.6 TDI. My driver side door is sticky when opening from in side. Im pulling on the lever but door feel jammed unless I give it nudge before it opens.

Lock unit failure on the Golf 6 is common, eventually you can't open the door at all and it becomes a sketch to change the lock unit.

I have had a look,all the pop rivets. Im having similar issue with me daughter honda civic back boot not opening,powered it up,boot opens but wont stop clicking,Im working on that.

If you had bought a 2 door they have an access cover but the four door means drilling out 11 pop rivets. VW say that these can be replaced with the later attachment method of push through plastic rivets (part number 5K0 837 975 A @ £1.62 each) but I am suspicious of this method as the note in the VW instructions make absolutely no sense, unless I am being thick, quite possible!

Remember that the door glass clamps are left hand thread
