replacement key fob

Hello im new to this forum lark so humour me if the answer is already in the forum somewhere, :biglaugh:. I have just purchased a 1998 a4 avant, it has only one key, can i buy a replacement remote and blank key from ebay for example and what is the easiest way to get it working.:confused:

you need a compatible fob, vag-com and the SKC code the match a new key in. If that sounds too technical a good auto locksmith should be able to help.

Oh the dealer can also help but it will cost;)
