2005 b6 passat 1.9 tdi warning lights

Hello,
Yesterday my passat threw up 2 warning lights on the dash, the glow plug light flashing and also the traction control light, the lights are intermittent but they are coming on more often than not and they always come and go together, also when they come on the car goes into limp mode and is well down on power,
Is there anything common that causes this? Thanks

the best option would be to get the car scanned with vcds and find out what fault codes are coming up

Got it scanned today, the foot trottle itself is on the way out and 2 glow plugs are on the way out also, would a new foot trottle need to be coded in?

Egr valve is on the way out as well 🙄 would a new valve need to be coded in?
