Hi Guys, I'm a newbie here.
I've just bought an A4 1.9 TDI SE 110BHP. I believe it to be the A4 B5 Facelift model as the year of the car is 1998. I'm due to pick it up tomorrow, so I don't have any of the specifics to hand about it.
The Radio in it is the Concert radio, and its only got a Tape deck. I like the look of it, and as the display is linked to the instrument cluster, I am not inclined to change it. Trouble is, nobody uses these things called tapes any more. I've looked around on ebay, but can anyone tell me what CD changer I need to be compatible with it? Will the one for the Glove box suit? or do I need the one for the boot? Is there any cables preinstalled in it?
Also, if I change the stereo to the newer version of the Concert (Front loader CD player) will this also integrate with the instrument cluster? I've attached pics of the stereo and cluster if it helps
