Q7 S-Line Lower Exterior Door Mouldings

Hi, I`ve just purchased a 2011 S-line, I`ve noticed that the lower Door Moulding on the Drivers door is coming away at the top. How do I go about removing this trim without damaging it? I can see that the Painted part is Double sided taped to a plastic piece that runs accross the length of the door which is in turn clipped to the actual door. Do you just slide it away (Already tried but its on tight) or am I missing something? Thanks

Hi. If your referring to the moulding on the bottom of the doors then yes it slides off. They normally need a little force to get them off. Mine was the same but did come off

Once it begins to slide it will come off easy
