Anyone know how to remove alternator on C4 A6 2.5L TDI? 1997 Quattro Avant

Hi. I imported this 1997 Audi A6 Quattro Avant 2.5L diesel and parts are hard to find in Canada. Alternator is not putting out enough juice. I found someone to rebuild it. I would appreciate any tips on removal. How many other parts do I need to remove?
