Passat back windows won't go completely down

Hi there, I have a 2007 TDI sport where both back windows will not go completely down. There are both about 3/4 the way down but wont go any further. Both windows stops in exactly in the same position. I recent had a new battery installed and am wondering is there something I need to reset? Thanks

Did they ever go all the way down? I don't think my passat rears go all the way down due to the wheel arch cutaway not giving the door enough depth.

The wheel housing design prevents the windows ever being able to go all the way down...:rolleyes:

Thanks guys. Was looking to have the windows down so I could clean all the green gunk that had built up between the rubber and the glass. Will have to try another tactic. Thanks anyway for the help.
