Gurus of the Audi world, please can you assist.

My A6 avant rear wiper was playing up, so I trawled through some remedials, unblocked the jets etc, then removed the boot trim to my horror found the little black coupling onto the motor leaks like a sieve.
Wondering if there's a way around this, as the metal plate does have screws and also what looks like little black plastic shear pins.
Im loathed to buy a whole new module, but if you gurus might be able to recommend a better solution to repair, I would be very grateful.

It's probably knackered inside as well. Bite the bullet and get a new unit.

I think you might be right, but the wiper seems to be operating correctly as long as I don't use the wash facility :zx11:

I have a similarish problem with my A6 Avant (2007).

At the moment, when you move the lever back to spray some water on the rear screen, nothing happens. Water then finds it's way into the n/s compartment where the sat nav DVD unit is housed and drips directly onto the silver housing!!! I've obviously stopped using it.

I'm guessing either a pipe blockage, or more annoyingly a pipe pop-off (or even a blockage that has now led to a pipe pop-off?) - is there a how-to that can help me trace back the water line to see where the leakage is coming from? I guess that the only positive here, is that if the pipe is leaking directly into the sat-nav cubby hole, it hopefully won't be too far back from the back of the car!

Many thanks!

There is a pipe union above the MMI/Radio units that is common to break check there first hence the wet electronics. If not fixed then it could damage the MMI equipment.

Contact your local dealer , it's a known issue.
They will carry out the work foc, had mine done 18 months ago when I got the car, it's an 07 plate.
