Hi - what's the best product for rejuvenating dull roof rails and also the running boards towards the bottom of the doors on an Allroad?

Looks like good stuff. Does it work better than autosol?

It's similar to autosol

Can Peek paste be used on alloy wheels and chrome trim, or is it just for aluminium roof rails?

Didn't tried on alloys but there's some good stuff on market for alloys and chrome trims.

Thanks Amo. I looked into this further and asked a supplier who sells both Peek paste and Autosol what the differences are. Here is the reply which I hope will be of use to others:

Peek is a very fine polish, so if the surface is already very good then this is the best option. Peek is safe to use on chrome plate and silver plate.

Autosol has a stronger cut, so has the ability to remove surface scratches and leave a good finish. Can not be used on Chrome and silver plate.

So basically
Peek- Less cut/more gloss
Autosol- More cut/less gloss

I'll back that up, nothing is better than Peek. reminds me, need to order some stuff from Frost.

I've just taken my first sniff of peek paste, having opened the tin for the first time. Made me gag! Is it meant to smell that bad?!

Ammonia. The worse something smells, the better it works....:puke:
