central locking problem

Help needed please. Mk4 V6 4motion. Had alternator failing to charge (was the freewheel pulley not working) resulting in a battery as flat as a pancake after I tried to drive home. Since then the double click on the remote key fob only unlocks the drivers door instead of all doors, as it previously did. Coincidence or would the flat battery have triggered a fault code ? Thanks in advance.

near Ashford/ Canterbury. Have also realised I cannot find my spare key, so need to get a new key as well
