Hi All, been a member for a while but sold my a6 for a 730d back in 2015. I have since returned back to the bright sideand bought an A6 Avant sline 2.0tdiE 2009 facelift and loving it!

Looks like there's still some familiar names flying around helping! Hello again to all.

Theres a few things that needs attention on my new purchase:

1. Both left and right rear outer fenders LED tail lights are off. If I use some percussive maintenance on the left one and hit it, the LEDs flash for a second.
Any thoughts on what the issue would be?

2. The 3rd centre brake light is intermittent. I read there is re-solder fix but is there any instructions on removing it? Some say remove trim, others say it's taken out externally - very confusing!

3. The mutitronic seems to be recently serviced but upon jacking up for MOT it seems bolt B to refill was forcefully opened as the bolt has extensive damage. There is a very slight leak coming through, the oil seems fresh. Is there any other way to do a slight top up for now and use chemical bond to temp seal the leak without spending hundreds on full cvt service?

Point 3. I'm still debating if I should take to garage straight away. But 1 and 2 are annoying me.
I have done a VCDS scan and getting the below codes:

02930 - Control Circuit for Brake Light in Fender; Right
02931 - Control Circuit for Brake Light in Fender; Left
009 - Open or Short to Ground

1503- bulb for 3rd brake light(m25)

Thanks.
