I'm looking for a satnav which covers Europe and has bluetooth.

As the TomTom's strangely don't support my Sony Ericsson Phones I've narrowed it down to either a Garmin or Navman. They both look sleek and efficient and have the larger screen that I am looking for.

They both have postcode search and bluetooth compatability.

So if any of you uses a Satnav from either of these makers, could you give me an opinion?

What do you think of the build quality, userfriendliness and reliability?

Anything that helps narrow down the choice would help. At the moment it's between the Navman S90 and one of the Garmin Nuvi's. Unless anyone suggests something else that is! :1zhelp:

Thanks for the help.

I'd have a look at the Navigon 7110.

Bit expensive at £313 from Pixmania but uses Navteq maps has TMC and lots of bells and whistles.

I presently use a Garmin Streetpilot and can compare it to Nokia's GPS and Tom Tom.

Each was made well, were quirky in terms of user interface (you get used to them) and reliable.

In all honesty, I found very little difference between the systems in terms of accuracy etc. so its down to personal preference and feature set when making a decision.

I have a Navman F40 now superceded by the S series. I really like it and have found it very easy to use. The POI's (places of interest) that you can download for it are excellent and very handy if you need to find the nearest Tescos or cash machine.
