I HAVE already had a front bumper on the 2.0TDI LeMans S Line Last Year, but..
an uninsured driver ripped it off the car this week.
Although the big self tapping screws seem to hold it in place - it looks like a dogs hind leg and I'm not happy with it.
If I go though the insurance... A) the excess is equal to a genuine bumper without fitting B) the increase in premium will be equal to the paint - although it will go down as a claim, and affect our "currently" perfect NCB.
So..
Does anyone know where I can get a decent front bumper (without shouting EBAY) - preferably one that isn't damaged, although scratches are ok - as it has to be painted.
The last one was broken where it sits on the mounting brackets on either side, and using a soldering Iron to melt it back only lasted about a month.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a suitably prices bumper please?
Yes. 451.96 from TPS - but the painting of Garnet Red, means i still have to paint the wings and the front edge of the bonnet (which will need fully doing due to stone chips).
So... Bonnet bumpers and wings will need fully painting..... taking the job to just over a grand with a new bumper...
Oh... I'm originally from Yorkshire... so I like to try and hold onto my money!!!
Thanks In Advance.
