Hi everybody, just a little introduction about myself.

Had a few audis over the last few years and they've all been fantastic. So when it came to getting my partner a bigger car ( she's due in 7 weeks with our first child ) they're only seemed one option. So I bought a 2008 (private sale ) a4 B8 2.0tdi 143. Lovely looking car 2 previous owners from new full service history with all th big jobs done recently (flywheel and clutch ) within 1 day of having the car the engine management light came on ( dpf filter Is getting removed tomorrow and software remove at a cost of £500 :@) air con fan is squeeling, central locking has started playing up (front doors won't open from outside) and the windscreen washers aren't working to top it all off.

Disappointing is defiantly an understaatement to say the least :( so hopefully some people will point me in the right direction in here.

Is there any sub sections for my problems such as central locking, windscreen washers etc ??

Welcome to the forum. The sub section for you is the A4 B8 section.

Just be aware that removing the DPF is illegal and testing for it is part of the MOT. No idea how they test for it but with the current fad for knocking diesel, I would be careful doing this. Air con fan will need tightening or replacing - easy job. The washers could be a loose pipe.
