ABT has a great reputation here in Germany. Very expensive though but they do provide warranty etc.

I wonder does piggyback better than ecu remap, as I understand abt has only tune box and they don't do any remaps, and why it's so expensive? You can get apr for example for 1000 eur and abt you pay 5000 eur

No idea. But this is Germany for you. Most things are expensive for no reason.....

APR Audi C7.5 RS6/RS7 4.0 TFSI V8 ECU Upgrade (http://www.goapr.co.uk/products/ecu_upgrade_40tfsi_c75rs6rs7.html) with the cast downpipe option and when it becomes available, the intercooler upgrade.

Proper ECU tuning is always better then piggyback.

Try JD Engineering in Lochem, Netherlands. They re-mapped my S4 and did a very good job.

Proper ECU tuning is always better then piggyback.

There are instances where this doesn't hold true, such as the R32 turbo conversion I am doing, the factory ECU can't cope with the requirements and a piggy back would not be able to do all I need so it is a mixture of a modified ECU map and an AEM FIC8 piggy back. The other problem here is replacing the ECU with a bespoke unit has a huge knock on effect on the cars other systems connected to the CAN BUS.

Oh yes thats true. Replacment ECU would also be more expensive.
I was meaning that for only software changes without major hardware updates.

Thanks, how long they been working with Audi's? Are they not new company? They know how to work properly? No offense just gathering information:) Do they map ecu so later car not gets any problems? I mean you map your car and forget about all problems?
