Right, a nice reconditioned turbo has been fitted, the Dpf has been cleaned, so has the turbo oil supply/return pipes, the egr has also been cleaned. It has no engine warning light on and it passed it's MOT yesterday morning with no advisories, so why is there so little power????
Driving around town is a bit slow, but it's manageable. Boot it and it goes into limp mode with engine management light and flashing glowplug light illuminating. Turn engine off, restart and lights are gone and it's out of limp mode.
The first test drive after fitting the turbo wasn't too far, as the pipe from the intercooler (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_nkw=intercooler) to the egr popped off at the egr. I put it back on, then the inlet pipe to the intercooler (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_nkw=intercooler) popped off. That was put on, then the outlet pipe from the intercooler popped off. So I fitted all pipe joints with jubilee clips. I've now noticed an oil leak from the turbo outlet to intercooler pipe. ( the only pipe without a jubilee clip). My thought at the moment is that the full whack of air from the turbo isn't getting into the engine. Instead it's building up in the pipe work to the egr/manifold, then breaking the weakest joint as the pressure of the air increases.
Any ideas as to why the lack of power and might I be right about the air from the turbo not getting to the engine??

Mass Air Flow meter away .............................. possibly

when the fault appears, you need to read the code

this is possibly what has been wrong all the time, I just cant believe the amount of turbos that seem to be going

What you will find is your engine is over boosting which is caused either by a Faulty (Map) manifold absolute pressure sensor or a failed N75 valve which is a common fault. The usual symptoms are lack of power and charge air hoses blowing loose or splitting. The only other cause is a sticky turbo veins as your is replaced this can be ruled out of the equation.
