Hello to one and all,

I am here seeking some help and advice; i am new to the forum but hopefully will find myself a regular, porting over from the Ford owners club sites :)

I am looking to buy a 2012 A6 i have seen online, this is a 3ltr Quattro Sline with 88,500 Motorway miles- it is on Gumtree at the moment for £15,100, which i think is a fair price; open to opinions on this too.

The car has the S-Tronic box which has been serviced at the correct intervals, Full Audi main dealer service history also at decent intervals and has the Tech Pack with MMI - no other extras.

Has 6mm tread on all matching tyres.

Mot June

Pads were changed last year.

I am going to view the car Sunday afternoon with the intention of driving it away, i however dont know a great deal about the C7's or Audi's in general. SO,

Can i first have your thoughts on the price and mileage?

And also,

Is there anything i need to be looking for when inspecting the car? What are the best tips for me to be checking over?

What sort of work could i expect to be looking at for a car with these miles? IE, what sort if miles before cam belt is needing some attention? or is it a chain on these engines.

I look forward to your replies.

Many thanks

Bruce
