Can anyone advise if there is an aftermarket sat nav system for A6 Allroad 2010 model yr.The mmi screen is on the dash
All the buttons are there unit is in the glove box with 2 sd card slots and even has the roof aerial but it doesn't have sat nav...
I've checked with Audi and it wasn't there and doesn't show it can be activated either ...any suggestion gratefully recieved.

I think, you are asking this question in the wrong thread, as the MY2010 refers to an C6 model, this thread is the for the 2011- C7 models. About the question, IMHO you can purchase a used/NOS unit on Ebay or similar places with a fair price for Your car.

As AT. says this is the wrong forum for your model, but there a number of people who will retrofit navigation including HazzyDayz A6 4F, S6 4F, RS6 4F - 2005-2011 (http://hazzydayz.com/a6-4f-s6-4f-rs6-4f---2005-2011-25-c.asp) Alternatively you can buy the parts from Kufatec https://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/en/categories?cat=67&mcat=119 and do it yourself. Be aware that a 2010 car is post the facelift and both the High and Low systems were termed 3G. The difference being that the the Low system was initiall DVD based and by the end of the C6 run was SD card based, while the High system had a larger display screen and was Hard Disk based. As you do not have navigation installing the Low system will require less major work as you will not need a new screen

Thank you for you help it's much appreciated.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place .
I'll have a look at your suggestions as this car was registered 30 Dec 2010 and has sd card slots in the glove box.
If it's going to be a mammoth task and expensive then I'll pass on this car ,no point...My son changed his A3 to sat nav easy peasy but this sounds like a task and a half....
Thanks again
Paul

You need to change the main MMI module with one that has navigation, it then needs component protection removing which will be a trip to the dealer, and it will also need coding correctly using VCDS. It also need a GPS aerial which can be fitted behind the dash. You can get the module & gps antenna from ebay for around £250 then the CP removal for Audi for around £80 + someone to fit and do the coding (no idea).

To be honest having had the 3G Low navigation on my C6 you would be better spending (less) your money on a decent TomTom device. With the OEM system you will not have fuill postcode entry, there is no "free" map update service and only TMC based traffic information

Yes I thought about that...I've decided not to buy the car much to the dealers disgust...cest la vie .
Thank you very much to everyone for all their help.
Cheers
