New Q: A7 3.0 272 Quattro 2014 or A6 3.0 218 Non-Quattro 2016

So it seems like it's a question a day now but it's such a close call, I think I need some gently nudging!
As some may have seen, I've potentially seen an A7 that ticks most boxes but now I've seen an A6 and I'm confused.

Choices:
A6 3.0 218 engine Non-Quattro
2016/16 : 3000 miles
Mythos Black, Black edition
Tech pack, 20" rotors, heated seats and the rest falls under the standard s-line/black edition spec.

OR

A7 3.0 272 engine Quattro (Facelift)
2014/64 : 25000 miles
Floret Silver, Black edition
Tech pack, 21" rotors (but has 3mm tyres so potential cost coming up), heated seats, HUD. Reset falls under standard s-line/black edition spec although I think the A7 generally is higher spec (matrix lights, power boot, elec seats etc)

Current:
A6 2.0 190 (facelift)
2015/65: 13500 miles
Mythos black, black styling pack
tech pack, 20" rotors, folding mirrors, lighting pack

What I'd be losing from current:
Folding mirrors (can be retrofitted)
Low mileage/age if I go for A7
Lighting pack (not fussed)

& I am a massive fan on Mythos Black (when clean). But I don't think the floret silver looks bad on the A7

Almost need a poll now!

Thought as much - As long as mine does now sell, then i'll go for the A7.
If it doesn't, fall back plan might be the A6 non-quattro but first option will be the A7

Love the shape of the A7, don;t think Silver would be my colour choice though...hard choice...with 3mm on the tyres and quattro there will be signifficant expenses soon...but hell yes go for the Quattro!

It's just another opinion, but why you want to replace your well known current A6 with an only one year younger A6?

Even if you will have warranty again, and a slightly younger look, IMHO it will not give you a "wow" feeling after the first week. If you buy a superior drive, with only two, well known priced disadvantages, than you will be surprised three times, once you purchase it, once you will see how it feels on new tyers, once you will be happy with the retrofitted mirrors. Much more fun for the money :)

AT - Very nicely put! You're right - everytime I have mentioned the 218 A6, the fact it's the same colour, spec etc just a different engine suggests I won't get a major WOW factor compared to a complete body change, engine, 4 wheel drive system etc
I actually don't know which thread to now update on so I'm going to leave this one as being answered and update the yay/nay A7 one
