Firstly here are some good places where you can find out about recalls

http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp (http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp)

http://www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/recalls/index.js p (http://www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/recalls/index.js p)

My question is how can people find out if a recall has been rectified on their vehicle if they have no service history or records? Can you ask a dealership for that info and will they charge you for it?
