A6 C7 Interior light LED replacement interior Max' Car Blog (http://www.maxcarblog.com/audi-a6/diy-audi-a6/interior-light-led-replacement/)
Hi Everyone
Over the weekend I fitted a full set of LED's to the interior of the car including the boot lights and door lights .
I did find something out that may save a bit of it ,when I comes to fitting the wedge bulbs in the front and rear domes they can be removed without at the front having to remove the T15 screw but uses a long nose set of pliers to pull the old ones out. Theis was of big help on the back dome lights as I could not get them to come out of the ceiling at all so I removed the plastic cover on the light and just pulled the wedge bulbs out and push the new led ones in.
Overall it was about a 15min job and made a massive improvement to the look of the interior of the car and was very happy , the light output is far greater and it gives the interior a much more modem clean look to it .
As I say removing the rear dome for me was very hard, so the fact that the bulbs could just be pulled out was far easier for me , so hope that it is of some help to other thinking of the same upgrade at some point.
