Best oil for BiTDI and where to buy it?

Just a quick inquiry about engine oil. The BiTDI is due it first service at the end of the month (12 months old). Whats the best oil to buy and the best place to get it before I visit the dealer. It seems such a shame to pour away the original oil as its only done 5k
but thats life.
