Could be the head gasget faulty. Has the engine been overfilled with oil previously?

The new MAF is genuine ? Aftermarket ones are notoriously *****...

I took the EGR valve off mine and cleaned it, bottom bolt is a stinker to remove but once off I saw the whole thing was gummed up with "Tar".
Cleaned by mechanical means and soaked in parafin several times (not the diaphragm though!).
Car has a lot less smoke when the turbo kicks in (2k +).
Might be worth giving a go if your MAF is ok. You'll need a 6mm allen key and maybe a 12mm socket, depending on whether you can get that bottom bolt out.
