Q5 airbag in B6 ?

Just bought an A5 wheel that has come with an 8r0 airbag, anybody know if I change wiring to a B7 connector and pin in accordance with B7 slipring will it fit my B6, I have the correct Q steering module.

That is a dual stage airbag the B6 is a single stage system, so the airbag will not fire in a crash.

Sorry, I appreciate that. I just meant is there something special about his airbag that means it wouldn't be compatiable with a B7 slipring and module setup

Just to say the Q5 8r0 airbag does work with B7 steering module, I did repin into a 4f0 connector though.

I only have an Rns-d so only volume works on the multifunction at the present.
