Hi all,

The Q7 has been going into limp mode for some time, finally got round to getting it into a local specialist and he says that the pressure differential senders (also known as the DPF sensors) need replacing. They are a bugger to get to and it entails lowering the gearbox. He couldn't take the work on because his ramp wasn't rated as strong enough to take the car.

I've been ringing up and emailing every specialist I can find and no-one at the moment is prepared to take the job on.

Does anyone on the forum know of anyone who would take this job on? (preferably in the north west somewhere, but at the moment I'm prepared to limp it out a fair distance if I have to).

Even the local main dealers seem reluctant as they aren't ringing me back!

Hope someone can help.

Cheers,

Paul

Got both of mine done at the same time, I think the sensors are about £50 each. Paid £350 to get them done at a VAG specialist. Surely any 4x4 garage would be able to do this job.
