Fan problem

Hi all
I Noticed today that my small fan doesn't stop running, when the car is off!


I turn the engine off and next thing the fan has started up....


When eventually after some hours the fan stops I'm able to restart it by touching the fan, I'm able to slow it to a stop though


Any thoughts and anything that could go wrong if I don't get it sorted asap!

Ignoring this issue will drain your battery the likely cause is a faulty fan control module.31790

hi there have you changed the fuse by any chance reason i ask is i had a similar problem a few year ago it was a faulty fuse changed to a high voltage and the fan wouldn't turn off change the fuse to correct 1 and the problem went away also check the fan switch is working ok hope this helps.
