The car is constantly throwing warnings and having scanned it about 30 times and resetting the intermittent fault it finally threw a hard fault.

01578 - Airbag Deactivation Warning Lamp; Passenger Side (K145)

011 - Open Circuit - MIL ON

I've tested the deactivation switch in the glove box (as thats the part I had replaced a while back due to this fault) and noticed the dash notifies me the airbag is deactivated but the warning lamp in the center dash doesn't illuminate.

I've dismantled the center dash and removed the warning lamp and tested the wires. I get resistance and voltage through the wires. I'm assuming this is the problem so looking for a spare.
Part number is 1T0919234B. I've checked ebay and they are about £10-20 used (mostly from Europe though).
I tried calling VW but missed the dept close by 9 mins.

Does anyone have the capacity, or know offhand, how much these cost new?

It's a very simple part but that doesn't usually stop the price being silly.

Cheers!

to reply to my own post.

Was £22.75 from VW for brand new.

Going to get that rather than paying £15 for used.
