AUDI A4 B6 - Various Fault Codes

Hello,

I am new to the world of Forums and i am looking for some help with an Audi A4 S Line 2004 saloon i have just purchased...

1 - The heater will not blow hot - Fault code 01272 Central Flap Regulator Motor - V70 Locked or has no Voltage Supply

Possible other fault code - 18049 - Read DTC memory of A/C control module - tdb

2 - Engine control Module Disabled -tbd
There is no issue with the vehicle starting or running, doesn't cut out so not sure what this is about?

3 - Air Bag light on - Fault 01589 - Side Curtain airbag igniter on passenger side N252 Upper limit exceeded

You expertise and knowledge would be appreciated with pointing me in the right direction of how to remedy these faults.

Flap motors are common issue, whip the glovebox out, remove the flap motor (can't remember the colour of the lever for the temperature one, think it is red but can be obtained by process of elimination), either replace the motor or pull it apart and regrease/free it up/clean up the mechanism which can sometimes cure it.

Airbag fault, the connector under the seat is a common culprit with a bad connection but not sure that comes up as a curtain airbag fault. Basically you are looking for a bad connection or possibly the airbag unit itself has failed due to age. As always, there are precautions to be taken when looking at airbag systems (they are explosive devices) so if you are not confident and competent then you probably need to get someone who is to help (and to be honest I am not that keen on touching them!).
