The good wife has iDrive and it has to be said i like the home screen as such that it has.

Can the software be modified so that when the off switch is hit the splash screen comes on?
Then can the splash screen be changed?
That would be cool, with 4 rings or quattro logo there IMHO lol

Reading few bits on the mmi it's seems to be case of not broke don't fix. I tried to access the splash screen menu to change it with no success and lost the radio took me a while to figure the reset is still the top right button in RHD.

thats the one i followed, didnt work.. lost radio volume until a MMI reset

Worked for me as mine now says RS6!
