Hi there every1.
Just bought a second hand passat 1.9 tdi 130bhp. Having a problem with loss of power after 2500 revs. read the posts and think its the mass air flow meter. getting diognosis 2mrw, but until then I've had the full sevice done. the only problem I've had as of yet is the location of the pollen filter. I'm getting a musky smell when the Cl/Control is on. Could any1 please help.

Open the bonnet and stand on the passenger side of the engine.

There should be a long black cover that runs from side to side. Remove this and the pollen filter is in front of you.
