1.9TDi 130 Sport Exhaust/Heat shield noise

My exhaust sounds like it's blowing a about 1750 revs but it could be reverberation from a heat shield or something as ATS tell me that nothing is blowing.

It makes the car sound terrible but performance seems to be normal. Has anyone had a similar problem and know how to deal with it please?

I once had a similar noise. It was a bolt holding the heat shield in place. Replaced it and it was fine.
There have been reports of the plastic engine cover on the top causing a vibration at certain revs too.
Get the bonnet up with someone to rev the engine at the speed where the noise happens and have a listen to see where it's coming from. Use a spanner or something to push on possible culprits so you don't burn yourself!
