Ive just had the car scanned and it has come back with 3 Fault codes, i'm hoping somebody could help explain what exactly they mean! etc..
4695-U1113 Function restriction due to received malfunction value - short to ground.
4699-U1113 Function restriction due to received malfunction value - open circuit.
5253-P0473 Exhaust pressure sensor 1 (G450) - signal too high - No or Incorrect basic setting adaption.
Note that the carhas had the Dpf inners gutted and also the egr blanked and then bothhave then been mapped out/off, supposedly!
I will say that eversince the Dpf/Egr deletion the car has always had 2 issues -
1, is the fault code 5253-P0113, should this sensor even be functioning with the Dpf deleted?
2, is that no matter if i start the car from cold and turn it off immediately or even drive it, the engine fan is always running for 10 minutes exactly after I've switched the engine off. why would the fan come on when the engine is cold?

1) no idea
2) change the Coolant Temp Sensor with a genuine one
Years ago, remapping cars used to be about telling the diesel car that it was colder than it actually was to put more diesel into the engine than needed, giving more power due to the extra diesel ....................... no idea if this is still the case ??????
Anyway CTS is a good starting point as fairly common to go

2) change the Coolant Temp Sensor with a genuine one
New genuine sensor has been fitted.
i think i need to get the car to a vehicle mapper that fully understands what they are doing.
im also wondering if anyone has a 2.0 tdi and has carried out a dpf and egr delete and had it mapped out/off successfully?

How long ago was it remapped and which company/software used and was it a power map, an economy or a hybrid (both eco and power)?
Since you've said 'ever since the remap' have you not taken it back to them?
We know it's a 2.0 as you've said above, however it would help if you put the model/year/gearbox in your signature strip like I've done below, am guessing it's an 08 or later as earlier cars didn't have one...well my 07 3.0 doesn't.
Weirdly a neighbour was just having Citroen remapped by a mobile service, they are using 'quantum tuning' as their mapper and the cost inc EGR blank was just £179 inc!

I never mentioned it having a "remap", only that it has had the dpf & egr mapped off/out. So no performance remap.
To be honest I don't want to take it back to the place that did the work, I've took it back once and he basically fed me some random waffle. And its been over a year. The place was called Tuned & Styled.
I also took the car to a reputable mapper, CC tuning in Burton he applied his dpf & egr map but nothing changed with my issue. he couldn't seem to do anything with it either.
I think I'm going to get the car booked in at a place called Shark performance that's not far from me, I've heard good things about them. Hopefully they can sort it

Searching all forum on your 5253-P0473:
P0473 "Exhaust Pressure Sensor High" (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/130995-P0473-quot-Exhaust-Pressure-Sensor-High-quot)
I don't think you should have the fault (but could be wrong) if your EGR/DPF are deleted via a map, if it is the sensor try and change it.
With regards to 4695-U1113
A google search shows post on other forums point to a fuel pressure regulator or sensor error, so it may be worth applying some contact cleaner to the connectors in those areas.
Sorry can't help more.

You've found out more than i could.
Any idea where the fuel pressure regulator is located.?

Possibly because you're not trying hard enough as it took me all of two minutes:confused:
I have a 3.0 and my pressure regulator sits on the back of the left hand fuel rail, the sensor sits on the right hand one and the fuel pressure valve is attached to the high pressure fuel pump in the engine bay.
The easiest way to see what a part looks like is to put the part description into ebay (along with your MY which you still haven't shared) then search in your engine bay for something that looks the same.
So based on a 2010 ebay showed me this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FUEL-PUMP-PRESSURE-REGULATOR-CONTROL-VALVE-AUDI-VW-2-0-TDI-16V-QUATTRO-BiTDI-/261533695057?fits=Car+Make%3AAudi%7CModel%3AA6%7CC ars+Year%3A2010%7CPlat_Gen%3A4F2%2C+C6%7CCars+Type %3A2.0+TDI&hash=item3ce49f7c51:g:S-oAAOSwgmJX0EnZ
Once again it took me less than a minute...so time for you to help yourself! :biglaugh:
