OK, so just 3 days in but I am in love. It does pretty much everything I want/like, just how I like. I deselected the sports suspension in favour of the comfort option and I'm really glad, it's so smooth and refined but still handles great when pushed (combined with my 18" s-line alloys).

The only one single issue I have is that I wish you could deactivate start/stop as I hate it and sometimes forget to turn it off (I didn't choose hill hold assist for some reason and it sometimes rolls backwards when start/stop kicks in) - that's it!

MY job means that I drive at least a dozen different cars every year and I've driven some beauties but this has to be the very best all round car I've ever driven. Great performance performed with a level of refinement that you don;t expect even from this section of the market. It's great.

By the way, FYI currently getting around 32mpg (mostly town driving so far) - I think that's decent enough, but a bit short of the Audi figures as you might expect!

Mine is the same age as yours...same car other than mine is the SE.
Two things I have noted, one good one not so good.
I was delighted to find that the tops of the exterior door handles have a chrome-like finish. Totally unexpected and really shows off the white paint a treat.
On the other had, I was very disappointed to find that the `lights` at the base of the door cards are not `lights` at all but simply reflectors. Would have expected lights as I had on my traded in Mazda6.

Yes, as usual they come as lights as part of an Optional lighting pack ££

Also had mine three days and love it apart from the lack of storage space, even the netting space on the backs of the front seats! Other than that a great car.

Hi Nick

I just thought about this yesterday when I went to put something in the netting in the back of the front seats - which isn't there! Also, no netting in the little side compartments in the boot, rendering them useless, and no carrier bag hook in the boot. I'm actually a bit pee'd off about this, I've seen all that stuff in reviews, I guess it must be part of a storage pack - it shoudl really be standard though, especially on an S-Line!

Grumble grumble:(

Hi Grumble!
Mine is the S-Line Avant so there are a couple small netted pockets in the back - the nearside one has quite a lot of space behind it for storage, but be careful because as this is an open fuse box area! Still getting to grips with all the settings, menus and sub-menus, especially the drivers virtual cockpit.

I'm now 6 days in.
My grumble is `noise`.
Before ordering I read and watched many many reviews and almost everyone commented on how quiet the cabin was.
I've not found that at all...and its coming from the tyres. What a din and spoils it for me.

Did you get larger wheels? I've got 18" S-line wheels and the noise in the cabin (rather the lack of it) is a major plus for me so I'm surprised to hear that you're unhappy. You didn't have a Bentley last time did you? I've come from a diesel Mazda CX5 which was quite noisy so the difference is night and day for me.

Hello, `jimihat`.
No I have the standard 17's
Ha! no, I came from a 14 reg Mazda6 Petrol Auto.
I checked the pressures as soon as I got it home last Thursday and, as expected, they were 3PSI more than they should be. I corrected that right away.
Quite a mystery then being as you seem happy.

Yes, I'm delighted infact, my old diesel was a noisy beast though so perhaps it's just not as much of a step of from the petrol 6 as it was for me from the diesel CX5.
