Intermittent electrical problems

Hello everyone, my wife's 2005 s-line 1.9tdi avant has a few confusing problems.
The following items work intermittently:
Central locking with fob and from inside.
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
I don't know if this is connected but the glowplug light sometimes flashes when travelling.
Any help would be marvellous.

Hello .
I would look at the wiring to the door/ body pillar where it flexes , probably you have some broken wires .

Hello and thanks Trevor,
I'll check that but what I did find was a wet carpet on the passenger side which was a bungled up drain hole under the battery.
I've had a dehumidifier in the car for three days and it's almost bone dry now.
All problems have gone apart from an occasional glow plug light and the electric mirrors won't adjust - which I'll investigate further.
