Electronic steering lock motor

Just had my emissions upgrade(?)done and was informed that during software check a fault was found with the electronic steering lock.The happy news is a possible bill for £475.10.Parts are £75.00.Anybody came across this before?All help accepted.

If you had a steering lock fault you would know already. If you do not have symptoms, Ignore it.

Thanks for the quick reply Martin,I do think its a bit of a cheek from the dealer seeing as how they've now quoted £360 for the work.I'll ignore it as you say.
