Hi Everyone,
I've been reading some posts the past few days so thought I best join up!
I've ordered a A6 Black Edition 190 S-Tronic in Glacier white with 20" Matt Titanium's!
I'm due to take delivery in Mid October which I honestly can't wait for. I will be going from a 63 Plate Citroen DS3 so this is going to be a big step up!
Do you have any tips or advice for when it turns up?
Cheeers!

Congrats, I am sure you will enjoy the A6. I am constantly looking for reasons to drive somewhere when I'm at home.

You will love it I swapped from a BMW 525 m sport and the quality is just as good nearly as quick lovely inside and very economical even with 20" wheels and the lowest suspension. Oh and I always drive with engine on dynamic it seems to be more economical and has much better throttle response. (TIP)
I am on 7,000 miles now and my average on the computer for the last 1300 miles is 49.6 mpg mixed running but mostly just me and the wife or me only in it. I have had a best of 61.3 on a 120 mile round trip running on the SMART M6 from Stoke to Coventry and back average 54mph and I live about 7 miles from the motorway. That will do me nicely enjoy[emoji51][emoji16]

Welcome to the forum. Advice just drive it. I have had my A6 saloon black edition with the ultra engine for 2 yrs and I'm just about to get an avant Quattro. Lovely cars, lovely to drive.

Only advice would be to have it paint sealed, not by the dealer but pay an independent valet person to do it for you, will work out at around half the price.

I'll second that, and the independent detailer will do a better job as well.
Ideally tell your dealer to do nothing to the car other than remove the transit protection stickers.

Your spec is close to my planned next A6. When did you order yours to get a delivery quote of Mid October?

Cheers for the advice everyone! I will be certainly looking into getting the paint sealed! Also going to take it for a huge cross country drive!

Well my order went in on May 19th, this was only due to the fact the lease company I'm getting it through had a cracking deal on, but my current car isn't due to be returned until the end of October which is why I'm getting it then.
I think it was around September delivery if I didn't have to wait for my old car to be returned.
My build date is August 29th for delivery to my dealer on 30th September.
