Maybe a simple one for most of you, but how do I change the the rear discs on my B6? And what tools do I need? Doing the job now and can't get old disc off. It's loose but can't get it out to put new in...

it will just pull off. there will be a build up of rust on the inside egde that is stopping it pulling over the flange. smack it with large hammer and keep turning it until it comes off.

I'll give that a try but was afraid to break the part that the pads slide along

Yes it is a big spline socket needed and the 2 bolts are usually massively tight with little room for a big bar. A high torque (500Nm and above) impact wrench usually makes light work of it. I use the old man's DeWalt which has over 1000Nm!! Have done a 2010 Estate before with a long extension and it bent the extension into a banana bar! The bolts cracked off however and could be undone.
