I have 2013 a6 c7 3.0 tdi model pre-facelifted. As you know facelift car such as a6,7,8 can ilustrate the navi map on the cluster. can it be hacked by vagcom?

As far as I understand it is not possible. The FL update was more than just a software update and the original MMI systems do not have the processor power or moreover the Graphics hardware to support this [apparently]. I have VCDS and confirm that there is no such feature lying dormant waiting to be enabled that I have found. Maybe others will have had a different experience. FL system is more of a halfway house between pre-FL and virtual cockpit; the latter being way cool to have!

I think the display could handle the maps , it manages the Night Vision camera and other images etc, but as überma said its the processor that can't handle it.
it would be interesting to see whether the" pre face lift display" has a different part number from the "face lift display."

Here's the equivalent from my old 2012 pre-Facelift:
Address 17: Instruments (J285) Labels: 4H0-920-xxx-17.clb
Part No SW: 4G8 920 982 K HW: 4G8 920 982 K

Different part numbers (4G8 920 987 vs 4G8 920 982 K) as you can see.

Are you saying that my 2012 post facelift is capable of displaying maps in the instrument cluster via coding?

No it's not possible to display maps with just a coding change. You would need to replace the instrument cluster. Also old versions of the 3GP software may not support this feature and you may need the later MIB MMI platform.
