There has been some discussion, but mainly more in the A7 section..

There are similar threads to this and other shared experiences. I believe its the end of this thread where some one references that they downloaded the software in early July and found some other benefits to it, eg. control of the module from the cruise control stalk.

I wasn't aware of the ability to do this, but your thread allowed me to investigate and I am disappointed to find it cant be done on my car, without a significant outlay and cutting the boot floor, which I am not going to do. I was hoping it would be a simple plug and play device, but Alas no. Of everything on the car, its the only real "disappointment", being there is just no noise... which says something for how quiet the car is, but a deep burble would be awesome. It is what it is... a 4 pot diesel plodder for motorway mile munching in comfort.

If I could get a similar sound, from my twin exhaust I would happily jump at it.

Dont think you really need to. I installed mine last night (bought directly from Kufatec) and the latest version works well straight from the box. 6 sounds, powerstart can be disabled by setting individual to dynamic apart from gearbox and the cruise control stick scrolls through the 6 sounds, so no need to trace the cable/button.
