View Full Version : Please Help Rattle uder acceleration!

Hi everyone! I was driving yesterday on German highway arround 100 mph and sudenly when accelerate I heard not to loud rattle. Foot of gas pedal it stops! It heppend several times! Car drive fine. Two months ago Audi replaced timing belt and water pump, a year ago they replaced DMF, clutch and slive cilinder! It's Audi A6 2.0 TDI, 125 KW CAHA, 2011.
Any help please?!

Worn engine or gearbox mount?

Car has just 65kk. Worn engine? I can see that oil is black. I change oil 8 months ago when was 59kk.

He was thinking on engine mounts or gearbox mounts not engine breakdown....

Okay! On VCDS no fault codes but I will check them next week Skoda garage. I changed oil 8 months ago for Mobile 1 but I am not hapy with it. Now is black!
But the nosie was something similar to clicking valves. Maybe turbo?

Engine oil in diesel engines does soon turn black. It's quite normal.
