I upgraded my coil packs today and on removal i noticed in the first 3 spark plug wells found a little oil, the car engine does misfire a little and thought it was the coilpack which i have changed, as it still misfires after i changed them im thinking it could be something more sinister, i really love this car so any help or advice would be very appreciated. Thanks

rocker cover gasket, or more correctly the gasket that stops oil getting into the spark plug wells needs changing. then keep an eye on it now and again and make sure the oil doesnt return. i would normally use a smear of silicon on a new gasket to help it seal properly.

Thanks for your advice, is this costly as the cars not worth a great deal but it has been extremely reliable for the past 2 years ive had it, was just starting to make a few upgrades, it has 112k on the clock.
