Hi guys, first of all sorry for my english, i am not from the UK.
I am an owner of an audi a6 3.0 tdi quattro. This is my first automatic car, so i cant compare the tiptronic with an other one. I dont know it works good or not.
Anyway i noticed when the car accelerate with aprox half gas, the gearbox doesnt drop the rev while it's changing up the gears until it reaches the 6th gear. But if i let off the pedal the rev drops to idle. (Only in D) It feels the gearbox slips and the lock up doesnt work as it should. What do you think? Could you give me some advice? Lockup? Bad adaptation? Old oil? Valve body? Faulty software? Thanks!

Here are some videos about the symptom i described.

It's the torque convertor slipping. New fluid may help if the old fluid is really degraded.
...But the TC may be shot.

You've not stated your mileage, typically these boxes need to have a fluid changed at 130k (km and then every 80k (km) according to ZF

So it should have had 2 x fluid and filter changes with that mileage...has it?
