VCDS Adaptation coding failure

I have been trying to input some adaptation codes for the retrofit OEM rear LED lights on my 2008 A4 B8 S Line saloon
and am finding that the codes which I input are not "sticking".
I have entered the security code and the new code then appears to be accepted when saved, but when I go back to check it,
it has reverted.
What might I be doing wrong?

I had all the codes in and working but this problem arose when I tried to make an amendment and now my lights are
not working as they should as the codes have been lost.

I think I have sorted the issue concerning failure of codes to stick by deinstalling and reinstalling the vcds on my laptop so I think the codes are stickingnow, but I think some of the codes which I did not aim to change have changed and I need please someone to let me have a full list of the 46 convenience module codes which are enabled by the security access I used. I think they will be line 179-210 or thereabout.
